The Lower Highlands Historic District is a historic district roughly bounded by Cherry, Main, Winter, and Bank Streets in Fall River, Massachusetts. The area is located just east of the Downtown Fall River Historic District and directly south of the Highlands Historic District. The district contains over 100 structures and about . It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. ==History== Most of the buildings within the Lower Highlands Historic District were constructed between 1810 and 1930, representing a wide range of styles from late Federal period to Greek Revival, Italianate, Gothic Revival, Second Empire, Stick and Colonial Revival, as well as some vernacular tenements.〔A Guide Book to Fall River's National Register Properties, 1984〕
